Ash Cottage is a traditional Manx Cottage, built in 1860, but extended and completely modernised in recent years, located in the heart of the conservation area of Castletown.
Mill Street is a quiet cobbled mews area giving easy access to the town centre, but without the problems of passing traffic.
It has its own dedicated car parking space in the adjoining courtyard.
Castletown itself has restaurants and pubs to suit
every taste, all within an easy walking distance. Manx National Heritage
has no fewer than 4 of its major attractions within the town centre. In
addition, there is a sandy beach for the family and a railway station to
enable you to re-discover the age of steam. Castle Rushen dominates the
town and dates from the 12th century and is one of the best preserved
castles in Great Britain.
